How soon will my funds be available?

Are there any fees for using Mobile Deposit?
There is no additional fee for using the Mobile Check Deposit service, but we do recommend that you check with your service provider to see if there are any wireless carrier fees.
What if there is a problem with my deposit?
Once you’ve made your deposit, you will get an email confirmation that we’ve received your deposit and are processing it. If there is any problem with the transaction, like insufficient funds or potential fraud, you’ll receive an additional email with further instructions.
Can I see the checks after I submit through the app?
Yes, the image of the check will be available in the app for 10 days.
Is there a daily maximum deposit amount?
Yes, you will receive your daily and monthly limit information when you are set up for Mobile Deposits.
If I discover I’ve entered an incorrect amount for the deposited check, should I redeposit the check?
No. The system reads the dollar amount written on the front of the check. If necessary, we’ll correct the amount within 2 to 3 business days.
What should I do with my check after depositing it using the Florida Credit Union mobile app?
Once you receive deposit confirmation and print for your records, just write “VOID” across the front of the check as a security measure. There is no need to mail Florida Credit Union the check.
Can I use the mobile app to add funds to accounts other than Florida Credit Union checking or savings accounts?
Not at this time. You cannot use the mobile app to add to any other accounts.
Why doesn’t my current balance reflect my recent deposit?
There may be a problem that requires staff to review the image of the check. This process will happen within one business day. Once reviewed, the deposit is reflected in your account.
If you did not receive confirmation, your Mobile Deposit may not have been successful. Please contact Florida Credit Union Member Support to determine your next step.
I selected the wrong account for deposit, what should I do?
Once the funds are available in the account the check was deposited in, you can perform a fund transfer between Florida Credit Union deposit accounts and the funds will be available immediately.
The check I deposited was returned. Can I upload the check again?
No, you cannot upload the returned check. Your account will be assessed a return item fee (refer to FCU Fees Schedule) and you will receive a copy of the deposit. If you wish to redeposit the returned check, you may do so by mailing the image of the item to Florida Credit Union.
Can I email or fax the uploaded check to Florida Credit Union to complete by deposit?
No. We only accept check images uploaded directly through the mobile app.
What are the system requirements for using Florida Credit Union mobile app?
- All iOS devices with a camera and operating system version 5.1 or newer (including iPods and iPhones)
- iPads from generation 3 and above (and iPad2 by request)
- All Android devices with a camera and operating system version 2.3.4 and newer
