FCU’s 2016 Bank Holiday Observances

As a member-focused financial institution, Florida Credit Union strives to provide our members with the best credit union services possible by offering multiple locations, extended lobby hours, and a wide range of banking services. However, Florida Credit Union observes the following 2016 holidays in accordance with the calendar set forth by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta:

  • New Year’s Day – Friday, January 1
  • Martin Luther King Day – Monday, January 18
  • Presidents’ Day – Monday, February 15
  • Memorial Day – Monday, May 30
  • Independence Day – Monday, July 4
  • Labor Day – Monday, September 5
  • Columbus Day – Monday, October 10
  • Veterans Day – Friday, November 11
  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 24
  • Christmas Day (observed) – Monday, December 26

Florida Credit Union follows the Federal Reserve Holiday Policy: When holidays fall on Saturday, Federal Reserve Banks and branches will be open the preceding Friday. For holidays falling on Sunday, all Federal Reserve offices will be closed the following Monday.
