Will I still be able to pay bills online?
Yes, we are implementing a new bill pay system with greater functionality. Current users’ bill pay information will transfer over to the new system.
Will my scheduled bill payments carry over?
Yes, scheduled bill payments will transfer to the new system.
Are my bill payment account being automatically transferred or do I need to set them up again?
All of your bill pay accounts should transfer to the new system.
Will bill pay be unavailable during the conversion?
Yes, bill pay will be unavailable to accept new payments from April 14 through April 20. It will be available on April 21. Scheduled payments will still be processed through the unavailable period.
Will bill payments be sent as checks or ACH?
They may be sent either way. This is contingent upon the relationship between our bill pay provider and the merchant. If you have a payment that is sent as a check, please let us know and we will see if an electronic payment can be made.
Will I be able to pay my loans from within online banking?
Yes, you will still be able to pay your loans through the new system as you do currently.
What is the minimum amount for a bill pay payment?
The minimum amount of a payment submitted through the bill pay service is $1.00. This is a change from our current service.
What date will my bill payment payment post to my account?
Bill Payments will have a Process Date and Deliver By Date. The funds will come out of your account on the Process Date and will be sent to merchant by the Deliver By Date. The payment will indicate whether we are able to send an electronic payment to the merchant or if we need to mail a check. Electronic payments typically will be posted by the next business day as long as you initiated the payment prior to the previous day’s cut off time. Checks will take longer as they will need to travel through the mail system and be posted manually by the merchant.
