Why is FCU changing online banking platforms?
We wanted to offer our members a feature-rich, unified digital experience to keep pace with evolving technology.

When will the new online banking platform go live?
We anticipate going live in the spring of 2020.

Will there be any services no longer offered with FCU Anywhere?
We are able to provide all the services we offer today and more. The services may just look a little different.

What can I do to prepare for the update?
Ensure you have one login for your account(s) and that it/they are active.  Check to make sure all accounts and transfers you would like to move to the new system have been set up.

What new features will be available?

Mobile App
Since this is a new system, not an update, you will need to have the latest version of the FCU app:

  • Android: members will need to uninstall their previous FCU app and download the new FCU app.
  • Apple: members set up for automatic app updates will receive the new app. If you need to perform a manual app update, click here for instructions

Card Controls
Card controls will be temporarily unavailable for credit card users, but will be reinstated later this year. In the meantime, if your Visa® credit card is lost or stolen, please call 800-284-1144 and press 3.

Will I still be able to pay bills online?
Yes, we are implementing a new bill pay system with greater functionality.  Current users’ existing payee information, all scheduled payments (if scheduled a week prior to launch), and all recurring payments will transfer over to the new system.  

Will my scheduled bill payments carry over?
Yes, scheduled bill payments will transfer to the new system (if scheduled up to a week prior to launch).

Are my bill payment accounts being automatically transferred or do I need to set them up again?

All of your bill payment accounts should transfer over to the new system with the exception of the following:

  • eBills and third party bill notifications will not automatically transfer into the new system; and will need to be reset May 12th in FCU Anywhere. You will be able to re-enroll in the Bill Pay with eBills widget in FCU Anywhere.
  • Person to person payments (currently Popmoney®) will be replaced with a new person-to-person electronic transfer system. This new system, Pay A Person, will be located inside the Bill Pay widget in FCU Anywhere. Pay A Person will be available to members both online and through the mobile app.

We highly recommend logging into the new Bill Pay system after FCU Anywhere launches to ensure all payee and payment information has transferred correctly.

Will bill pay be unavailable during the conversion?
Yes, bill pay will be unavailable to accept new payment entries from May 5th through May 11th. Scheduled payments will still be processed through the unavailable period.

Will bill payments be sent as checks or ACH?
They may be sent either way. This is contingent upon the relationship between our bill pay provider and the merchant. If you have a payment that is sent as a check, please let us know and we will see if an electronic payment can be made.

Will I be able to pay my loans from within online banking?
Yes, you will still be able to pay your loans through the new system as you do currently.

What is the minimum amount for a bill pay payment?
The minimum amount of a payment submitted through the bill pay service is $1.00. This is a change from our current service.

What date will my bill pay payment post to my account?

Bill Payments will have a Deliver By Date similar to our current system. The funds should post to the merchant by the Deliver By Date. When scheduling the payment, the system will indicate whether we are able to send an electronic payment or if we need to mail a check to the merchant. Electronic payments will typically debit your account on the Deliver By Date as long as you initiate the payment by 3 p.m. on the previous business day. Checks will take longer since they are sent via USPS and posted manually by the merchant.

Again, we recommend logging into the new Bill Pay system after FCU Anywhere launches to ensure all payee and payment information has transferred correctly. It is possible the way some payments are sent may change (check payments may become electronic payments or electronic payments may become check payments).

Will my scheduled bill payments carry over?
Yes, scheduled bill payments will transfer to the new system.

Will my e-alerts remain the same?
The alerts you currently have set up will not move to the new system. You will need to set up your alerts and notifications again. However, we will now offer email, text alerts and push notifications.

Will there be changes to mobile deposit?
No this service will remain the same. If you do not have mobile deposit today, please contact member services for assistance.

Will I have to re-enroll in eStatements?
No, you will still have eStatements available in addition to other electronic documents, such as tax documents.

Will my eStatement history be available?
Yes, you will still be able to view all the statements you can currently access.

Financial Wellness Tools with FCU Anywhere

I already use online banking. Do I need to re-register?
If you are the primary member and already use online banking, you will not need to register again. Your username and password will work initially, however, you will be prompted to change your password to meet new security settings the first time during this first login.

We recommend every member have their own login. If you are not a primary member on any accounts, you will want to register for a username and password of your own.

I have not previously enrolled in online banking. Do I need to enroll both on the website AND with the mobile app?
No, you only need to register on one device. Then you will have access to the system on any device.

Where will I login to online banking on or after FCU Anywhere is launched?
You will login from our website, www.flcu.org as you usually do.  You will then be connected to the new system from there.

Members using QuickBooks, Quicken and/or Mint will want to update their accounts by May 10 with the most up-to-date transaction information before the FCU Anywhere transition. Please check the lists below to find your corresponding conversion guide.

Please note: Express Web Connect services will be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. QuickBooks/Quicken users can manually enter transactions during this time by downloading a QFX/QBO file during this outage. Mint users can log in to FCU Anywhere to see account history during the outage.
